This page was constructed to display some of the creations from our five year old, Skylar. She's always loved nothing more than drawing and coloring, but recently her drawings are migrating away from the round smiley-face stick people, and she's starting to add details from her own perspective.

Dad, Space, Brody, and a Crying Monkee

I love this picture. She was so proud of it and couldn't wait to show it to Reagan when he got home. I couldn't find a good profile picture of him to put with it, but you get the idea.

This is Peter Tork, from The Monkees, crying.
We watched an episode of The Monkees together, and when I told her that Peter was her nana's favorite, she drew this picture for her. (He was sad in that particular episode.)

Some Scary Halloween Pictures

In honor of Halloween, Skylar's drawings took a creepy turn. She seemed to have a lot of fun freaking herself out. Here are a few examples:

This is a scary monster reaching over the side of the bed.

This is an angry cat monster who got lost and accidently went into the bathroom instead of his cave, which is just to the right of the bathroom door.
